Randy Jurgensen was born and raised in New York City, the oldest son of superintendents.
He served his country as both a Paratrooper and as a Green Beret. Randy received numerous medals for his military duty, including
three Bronze Stars and the prestigious Purple Heart. Upon returning from the rice pattis of Korea, he became a member
of the Police Department and was thrust into the concrete jungles of New York City. During his tenure with the NYPD, Randy
worked as an undercover Narcotics Detective. He worked in Harlem for l6 years as a Homicide Detective. During his Harlem years,
the murder of Police Officer Philip Cardillo became the catalyst for one of the largest scandals in the history of the NYPD.

To date, Randy has appeared in over 30 films
and television shows and has been credited with acting as well as production. In his book 'Circle of Six' co-authored
with Rob Cea, Randy lifts the curtain and sheds light on some of the darkest days of the NYPD.
Randy is currently working on a major motion
picture and is also traveling the United States on a nation-wide book signing tour.
